1 Quick Change That Keeps People On Your Site Longer
So I’ve been doing lots of website reviews and there’s one thing I’ve noticed on a lot of sites:
You’re not telling people where to go next.
It’s a pretty simple change to make and can keep people on your site a lot longer, reading more pages.
So here’s how you do it:
At the end of every page on your site, tell your visitor where to go next. You can do that with a big button, a link, or boxes with graphics.
Give them one to three (max) places to go. Don’t overwhelm them with choices.
If you’re not sure where to lead them next, a good idea is to follow the organization of your main navigation.
